WALKING
Rigden is now walking!! He only takes a few steps at a time, but he does it several times a day so I'm sure he will get better soon. He is such a cutie, he likes to take things apart and put them back together. We are trying to teach him new words. I tried to get him to say cookie, but it turned out as 'gook' and is now 'gookie'. He can say yucky and stinky too.

FISHING
Brent went fishing with his dad and brothers for a weekend at Henry's Lake. He caught a couple fish and had fun. Here are some pictures he took.

VACATIONING
To celebrate our 5th anniversary, we went on a weekend vacation to Stanley, Idaho. It was so beautiful there. It is in the Sawtooth mountains and there are lots of lakes there. We went to Stanley Lake, Redfish Lake, Pettit Lake, and Lake Alturas. We went on a nice hike while we were there. It cloudy and rainy most of the time we were there, but fortunately the rain broke long enough for us to go on a hike. There were buttercups, daisies, wild strawberries, and other flowers blooming. We saw elk, deer, and bear tracks on the trail. We saw tons of birds and we saw some elk on a mountain while at a gas station. We went through the sawtooths on the way home and it was so gorgeous, I wish we could have taken more pictures. Brent and I had fun playing with our photography (we both have a camera). We have a little joke with taking pictures of various stuffed animals driving the car. This is 'Larry', Rigden's favorite hippo. Actually this is 'travel' or 'stunt double' Larry. We also have 'original' Larry. We have 2 in case something happens to one of them.
IMPROVING
Since we are having another baby, we have been trying to get our entertainment room in our basement done. We finally have it textured, painted, and carpeted. We also got new furniture and a new flat panel TV (so I can hang it on the wall and not worry about a TV falling on my kiddos). It has been 'musical rooms' in our basement for a while. We had to move everything out of the ent. room to get it carpeted (including moving a 75 gallon aquarium-yikes). Now we need to move stuff back into it as well as move some of our office in there so we can use the office for the new baby's room. We will also be rearranging our laundry room. Long story short, it feels like we will never get it all done, but hopefully we will soon. Our entertainment room is so much nicer now than it was before-it actually feels like a room rather than a cave.
