So lately, there have been zillions of spiders in our house. I think I've killed at least six in the past week including a big fat pregnant Hobo that was in Rigden's toy basket (ewww). The stupid thing wouldn't die. I think I smashed it 8 or more times with the kleenex box before it finally gave up the ghost. At least I found it and not Rigden.
The spiders also seem to be decorating the outside of my house for Halloween, I can't keep up with the darn webs!
When Rigden was a newborn, every diaper was poopy, but then it slowly phased out so they were few and far between (which was heavenly). Now suddenly, almost every one is poopy again. Ahh, the joys of parenting.
I think I forgot to mention that his first tooth has been coming in. Another wonderful (drool filled) joy. He is now also quite the poser for the camera, whip one out and he is suddenly all cute and smiley.
We decided to paint our house! Well, we were always going to paint it because frankly, it's ugly. But I finally got the gumption to just get a gallon of paint and go for it. It was white and green, we are painting it yellowish-cream and red. We are painting the trim this fall and the rest next spring. However, since we are just painting a little at a time, our house is currently white and red and green. So we dubbed it the "Christmas House", and no, we are not leaving it that way for Christmas (if we can help it).
