So we had a Daddy Daughter date for our Young Women's activity, but two of the girls came without their dads, so myself and another leader got to be their dads. We played a game where the girls shaved their dads (we took the blades out of the razors) and the dads did the girls hair. So, you guessed it, Catherine got to be shaved! Oh what fun!
Rigden turned 5 months old on June 7. He weighed in at 19 pounds that day. He says mamama or mum when he cries. He did say dada the other day while sitting by Brent on the couch. He is very chatty and does a fake cough for attention. He is now liking standing up and he loves mommy kisses, he gets a big grin when kissed on the cheek. He is also very ticklish on his tummy and ribs, and is now starting to get the cutest little giggle when he is tickled.
Our 4th anniversary was on June 5. I bought a dishwasher for our anniversary since ours doesn't work right and we are very sick of washing dishes by hand. Our anniversary was kind of a crazy day, we almost got hit by a truck in a parking lot, I went shopping for jeans everywhere and couldn't find any that fit good, and best of all one of the small diamonds in my wedding ring disappeared. My ring was fine in the morning, and in the evening I looked at it and there was a big black hole in the channel. The jeweler that sold it to us is fixing it for free, thank goodness. Brent lost his wedding ring a couple weeks ago (not the original one however). I asked him if we are just not supposed to be married since he lost his ring and mine is falling apart. He replied, "we're supposed to be married, it's just supposed to be a secret." Good old Brent, what would I do without him.
Brent still likes his job, he is especially glad it is getting warmer outside! All in all, we are doing pretty good!
